What the two pages cover
Page one is headed ODDS SYMBOL and lists nine pictures with pays for x5, x4 and x3. Under it sits the GOLDEN ARROW section with two short rules. Page two is headed FREE GAME and ends with a LINES chart of 15 numbered patterns. Neither page says which way pays are counted or what the printed numbers are multiplied by, so the table below shows the values exactly as printed.
The three named characters and the man in purple
Robin Hood, the archer in green, tops the table with x5 1000, x4 75 and x3 30. Little John, the man in blue, follows with 800, 60 and 25, and Friar Tuck, the monk in brown, prints 600, 50 and 20. A smiling man in a purple coat comes next with 500, 40 and 15. These three named characters return on page two, where the free game rule turns them wild one by one.
Scroll, shield, bag, hat and apples
The scroll with a red seal pays 400, 35 and 10. The gold shield prints 300, 30 and 8, and the money bag with coins 200, 25 and 6. The green feathered hat shows 150, 20 and 5, and the red apples close the row with 100, 15 and 4.
The Robin Hood WILD and the Golden Arrow
The Robin Hood WILD tile appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for any symbol except the Scatter symbol. The page prints no pays for it.
The GOLDEN ARROW rule reads: when the Golden Arrow appears on the 5th reel, the symbols shot by Robin Hood will be replaced with Robin Hood WILD. A second line adds that the Golden Arrow itself has no odds. The page does not say how many symbols are shot.
FREE GAME: wins turn characters wild
Three SCATTER tiles are pictured at the top of page two: SCATTER symbols that appear in a game trigger FREE GAME, and 10 free games are awarded. During the feature the winning times are accumulated in each free game. When the count reaches the terms listed, the designated symbols become WILD in a game:
- The first winning time turns the Robin Hood symbols into Wild symbols
- 3 consecutive winning times turn the Little John symbols into Wild symbols
- 6 consecutive winning times turn the Friar Tuck symbols into Wild symbols
