Crushed symbols and repeated wins
The PAYWAYS section says way wins are awarded for adjacent symbol combinations from the most left to right. Winning symbols will be crushed, and the symbols above drop to that position. The same steps repeat until there is no winning combination.
The FEATURES - NORMAL GAME section links this to a multiplier: when winning combinations follow one another, a corresponding multiplier is rewarded, and the maximum multiplier is x6. The page does not print the multiplier for each step, only the maximum.
Free games with a higher maximum
The FREE GAME symbol is a red samurai mask with golden horns, labelled FREEGAME. 3 FREE GAME symbols anywhere on the reels trigger 10 free games, and the page says the FREE GAME symbol is only calculated 1 time on each reel. In the paytable the FREE GAME symbol prints 3 - 5.
During the free games, 3 FREE GAME symbols win 10 new free games. Winning combinations in a row are again rewarded a corresponding multiplier, and here the maximum multiplier is x8.
The WILD castle
WILD is shown as a castle labelled WILD. It substitutes for all symbols except FREE GAME, and the page says the WILD symbol only appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. The paytable prints no numbers of its own for WILD.
What the paytable prints
The paytable has seven symbols with numbers for 5, 4 and 3 of a kind. The samurai with a sword is at the top with 5 - 10, 4 - 2.25 and 3 - 0.75, and the woman with a sword follows with 5 - 7.5, 4 - 1.5 and 3 - 0.5. The sheathed sword and the red samurai armour both print 5 - 5, 4 - 1 and 3 - 0.25. The letters A, K and Q each print 5 - 1.5, 4 - 0.5 and 3 - 0.1.
These are the amounts the page shows for a total bet of 1. The GAME RULES section adds that all pays are left to right on adjacent reels and match the symbol numbers in the paytable, and that only the highest win on a payline is paid. The page ends with: Malfunction Voids All Pays and Play.
Bakufu Shogun paytable
Amounts the Game Rules page shows for a total bet of 1 (the page prints the amounts for the current total bet), for 5 / 4 / 3 matching symbols; FREE GAME prints only 3 - 5.
