Reels, lines and how a line win is counted
The Help Page describes Mining Bonanza as a 5 reels, 28 lines slot game. All wins begin with the leftmost reel and pay left to right on adjacent reels, except SCATTER wins. Only the highest win is awarded per active payline, and wins on different paylines are added together.
SCATTER wins are added to line wins and are multiplied by the Total Bet. Total bet per game round = Value X Level X Credit, with the printed example 0.05 X 1 X 28 = 1.40.
Reel WILD: a drill that covers the whole reel
The WILD is drawn as a tall drill. It appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, in the main game and the Free Game, and substitutes all symbols except SCATTER. A WILD that appears partially on a reel adjusts its position up or down to cover the entire reel.
Two Free Games: x2 from SCATTER, x5 from WILD
SCATTER is the blue diamond marked SCATTER. 3, 4 or 5 SCATTER symbols anywhere on the reels in the same spin trigger the Free Game and award 8, 28 and 288 Free Spins respectively. All wins are multiplied by x2 if SCATTER triggers the Free Game.
3 WILD symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the Free Game and award 28 Free Spins. All wins are multiplied by x5 if WILD triggers the Free Game.
Additional Free Spins can be triggered during the Free Game, but are only played after the current Free Game ends. A WILD retrigger sets the multiplier of the new round to x5, a SCATTER retrigger to x2. The Total Bet stays the same as the triggering spin, and the Free Game ends when no free spins remain.
Gold Minecart prizes
The Gold Minecart can appear randomly with a prize value in the main game and the Free Game. The possible prizes, as a multiplier of the denomination value, are x2, x3, x5, x8, x18, x28, x58, x88, x188, x288, x588, x888, x1888, x2888, x5888 or x8888. All prize values are summed up for payout.
Paytable: four picture symbols and five card symbols
The Paytable prints values for 5, 4 and 3 symbols. After SCATTER, the bundle of dynamite heads the list at 94.40 for 5, followed by the pickaxe, the lantern and the yellow helmet with a lamp. The card symbols A, K, Q, J and 10 complete the table.
