Six reels and the Top Cart Reel
Each main reel has a maximum of 5 symbols in any spin. Above reels 2 to 5 sits the Top Cart Reel, with 4 symbols turning from right to left. Symbols on reels 2 to 5 may take up 2 - 4 positions and count as one symbol. Each reel gets a random number of symbols, so the maximum ways change per spin.
How ways wins are counted
Ways wins pay adjacent symbols from left to right from the leftmost reel, except SCATTER wins. Only the highest symbol pay counts per way, and ways wins are added together. In the Help Page's own words: Way wins = Credit X Corresponding multiplier according to paytable.
Cascades, also on the cart
Winning symbols are removed and new symbols fall into their place; on the Top Cart Reel the gap refills from the right instead. This continues until no new wins appear.
Silver frame to gold frame to WILD
In both modes, symbols other than WILD and SCATTER that occupy 2 to 4 spaces on reels 2 to 5 can appear with a silver frame. In a win it becomes another random symbol, not WILD or SCATTER, gold framed. If the gold frame symbol is in a new win after cascading, it becomes 2 - 4 WILD symbols. None of this applies to the Top Cart Reel.
The Rich Cai Shen symbol on top
When the Rich Cai Shen symbol covers the whole Top Cart Reel in a spin, it turns into 4 WILD symbols. Covering only part of the cart reel changes nothing.
Free Game and the Challenge
4 or more SCATTER symbols anywhere trigger the Free Game. 4 SCATTER give 8 Free Spins at x8 bonus multiplier; each extra SCATTER in that spin adds 2 Free Spins and x2. At the start, tap Skip to play at once or Challenge to spin the Cai Shen reel. Coloured Cai Shen: won, plus 2 Free Spins and x2, up to 20 Free Spins and x20. Grey Cai Shen: failed, all rewards are lost and the free game ends at once.

Buy Free Spins costs x100 Total Bet and enters Free Game instantly. The Paytable page prints rewards from 8 Free Spins and x8 Bonus Multiplier up to 20 Free Spins and x20; the Help Page says the buy gives 8 Free Spins with x8 multiplier. Total bet per game round = Value X Level X Credit, for example 0.01 X 1 X 20 = 0.20.
