How the 2,000 ways count
Bet ways win if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. The number of ways for each symbol is found by multiplying the number of adjacent winning symbols on each reel, and the symbol payout is multiplied by that number of ways. The paytable example prints 1 x 3 x 2 = 6, and with a payout of 10 for 3 symbols, the total winnings in that example are 10 x 6 = 60.
A bet way win in cash equals the paytable value multiplied by the bet size and bet level. Simultaneous wins on different bet ways are added.
Cascades and the multiplier
After the payout of every round, all winning symbols explode and the symbols above them cascade down for a new round, until no more winning combination can be tallied. All wins are multiplied by the multiplier shown above the reels: x1 in the first round, then wins raise it to x2 for the second round, x3 for the third round and x5 for the fourth round and beyond.
Gold symbols and the wild
During any spin, some symbols (excluding the wild and the scatter) on reels 2, 3 and/or 4 can appear in gold. At every new round, after the new symbols have cascaded down, any gold symbol that was part of a win in the previous round is transformed into a wild.
The wild is an ornate gold tile marked WILD and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter. The scatter is a red 胡 on a gold coin.
Symbols and paytable
The green 發 tile pays 50, 25 and 10 for 5, 4 and 3 symbols, the red 中 tile 40, 20 and 8, and the blue frame tile 30, 15 and 6. The 八萬 tile pays 15, 10 and 5. The five circles and five bamboo tiles pay 12, 5 and 3 each, the three circles tile 10, 4 and 2, and the two circles and two bamboo tiles 6, 3 and 1 each.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatters appearing anywhere trigger 10 free spins, and each additional scatter triggers 2 more. In the feature, all symbols (excluding the wild and the scatter) on reel 3 appear in gold, and the multipliers above the reels are increased to x2, x4, x6 and x10. Free spins can be retriggered.
Buttons and settings
Max Bet sets bet size and bet level to the maximum, and Spin Speed has two levels, Quick and Turbo. All wins are shown in cash.
Mahjong Wins paytable
Values printed beside each symbol for 5, 4 and 3 symbols in succession from the left; a win is the value multiplied by the bet size, bet level and number of ways, so it changes with your bet. Wild and scatter have no values.
