Wild On The Way: three steps to a Wild
During any spin, some symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 may have a silver frame around them. The Wild and the scatter never get this frame.
In each new round after a new symbol has dropped, any silver framed symbol that was involved in a win in the previous round is converted to a randomly selected symbol with a gold frame around it. That new symbol is never the Wild or the Scatter.
In the next new round after a new symbol falls, any gold framed symbol that was involved in a win in the previous round is converted to a Wild symbol.
The red mask multiplier
The Multiplier page prints this rule for the base game: whenever 1 or more red mask symbols appear on the reels, the win multiplier will be increased by 2 for each red mask symbol before winnings are paid out. The pictures show the red mask carrying an x2 label.
The Free Game page prints the same rule for any free games.
Daruma Scatter and free games
The Scatter is the red daruma with the SCATTER label. When 4 scatters appear anywhere, they trigger 10 free games. Each additional scatter that appears triggers 2 more free games. Free Games can be retriggered.
The Scatter has no pay values of its own in the paytable.
The Wild
The Wild is the torii gate with the WILD label. It substitutes for all symbols except the free game scatter and only appears on reel 2, 3, 4 and 5. It has no row of its own in the paytable.
Jumboways and Gaming Terms
The Jumboways page says up to 6 symbols per reel can appear for each spin, which means every spin can have up to 32,400 Jumboways to win.
Bet line wins pay if in succession from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, and only the highest win per bet line will pay. A malfunction voids all pays and plays.
The paytable shows values for the total bet of 0.20 shown in the game. Six masks come first, then five hiragana letters.
