Symbols and the paytable
The Paytable page shows twelve paying symbols, each with four values for 6, 5, 4 and 3 matching symbols, plus the Wild, Scatter and Mystery symbols. The red horned mask, the woman with a white face and the fox head are the top three at 30, 20, 15 and 10. The green beaked creature, the one-eyed blue lantern and the purple hand holding a scroll follow at 20, 15, 8 and 5.
A, K and Q pay 15, 10, 5 and 3, while J, 10 and 9 pay 10, 8, 3 and 1. The Game Rules page says a bet way win in cash equals the Paytable value multiplied by the bet size and bet level, so they are not RM amounts.
How the ways pay
The page heads the game 256 - 10,000 Ways. A win counts when the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. The ways for one symbol are found by multiplying the number of adjacent winning symbols on each reel, and the symbol payout is multiplied by the number of ways. The page example is 1 x 3 x 2 = 6, so a payout of 10 becomes 10 x 6 = 60.
Some symbols, except the Wild, Scatter and Mystery symbols, may occupy 2 to 4 symbol spaces, and each of them counts as a single symbol in the payout calculation. After every round's payout the winning symbols explode and the symbols above cascade down for a new round.
Mystery symbols
If one or more Mystery symbols are on the reels and there is no more winning combination, all Mystery symbols reveal a randomly selected symbol before wins are paid.
The win multiplier
During any spin all wins are multiplied by the multiplier shown above the reels, which starts at x1 in the first round. Any win in the first round raises the second round's multiplier to x2. Any win in the second round raises the third round's to x3, and any win in the third round raises the fourth round's and beyond to x5.
Free spins
3 Scatter symbols appearing anywhere trigger the Free Spins Feature with 10 free spins, and each additional Scatter symbol triggers 2 more free spins. During the feature the multipliers above the reels are increased to x3, x6, x9 and x15 respectively, and free spins can be retriggered.
