Symbols and the paytable
The Paytable page lists eleven paying symbols, each with three values for 5, 4 and 3 matching symbols. The woman with glasses is the top line at 50, 30 and 20. The red biohazard blood bag and the gas mask follow at 30, 20 and 10, then the green vial and the test tube at 20, 10 and 5. A, K and Q are printed at 10, 5 and 2, and J, 10 and 9 at 5, 2 and 1. These are the values printed on the Paytable page; the rules page says a win in cash equals the value multiplied by the bet size and bet level, so they are not RM amounts.
How the 1,600 ways pay
The game is played with a 20 base bet, bet level 1 to 10 and bet size 0.04 to 5.00, in RM. A win counts when the winning symbols appear in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. The winning ways for a symbol are the adjacent winning symbols on each reel multiplied together, and the payout is multiplied by them. The page example is 1 x 3 x 3 x 1 = 9, so a payout of 30 becomes 30 x 9 = 270. Simultaneous wins on different ways are added. After each payout the winning symbols explode and the symbols above cascade down for a new round, and further winning combinations are tallied until none remain.
Expanded Wild with multipliers
The Wild symbol appears on reels 2 and 4 only and substitutes for all symbols except Scatter. When a Wild appears on reel 2 and/or 4 it is transformed into an Expanded Wild symbol with 3 multipliers inside. The set of 3 values may be x1 x2 x3, x2 x3 x5, x3 x5 x12, x5 x10 x15 or x10 x15 x25.
Before wins are paid, the lowest multiplier value from each Expanded Wild symbol is collected at the bottom of the reels. Wins are then multiplied by that value and paid. The Expanded Wild symbol stays on the reels until the end of the spin or until all 3 multipliers have been collected.
Free spins and maximum win
3 Scatter symbols appearing anywhere trigger the Free Spins Feature with 15 free spins, and each additional Scatter symbol triggers 2 more free spins. Free spins use the bet size and bet level of the triggering spin and can be retriggered. Multipliers collected during them remain until the feature ends.
The rules page prints a maximum win of 5,000x of the bet amount. When the total win reaches it, the spin ends.
Zombie Outbreak paytable
