Six reels that change shape
Page 1 sets out the Megaways reels: reels 1 and 6 can hold up to 6 symbols, reels 2 to 5 up to 5, and above reels 2 to 5 sits a top row that spins on its own from right to left. Together they give at most 46656 ways to win; matching symbols on adjacent reels from reel 1 pay.
Tumbles and the two lives of a fish
Every win is paid, the winning symbols vanish and new ones fall in from above until no new win appears.
The group of fish is both a paying symbol and a MONEY symbol. Each spin gives every fish a random value, which page 2 says can be won during free spins. In the base game a fish in a win explodes and tumbles out; in free spins fish do not explode and simply fall to the bottom. Values as printed:
- 2x, 5x, 10x or 15x total bet
- 20x, 25x or 50x total bet
- 4000x total bet
A net and a fisherman, two different symbols
The Wild here is a landing net marked WILD. It lands only on the top row of reels 2 to 5 and stands in for every symbol except the Scatter and the FISHERMAN.
The FISHERMAN, a bearded man in a cap holding a big fish, appears on all reels in free spins only and takes the values of every fish on screen.
The free spins round
Free spins need at least three Scatters, a fish jumping from a sunset badge, on any reel: 3 give 10, 4 give 15, 5 give 20 and 6 give 25.
Fishermen are counted through the round, and each fourth one retriggers: 10 more spins after the current batch, with a multiplier for fish collection and all wins at 2x, then 3x, then 10x. There can be no more than three retriggers.
With only 1 or 2 fishermen and no fish at the end of a free spin, dynamite can place fish in random spots, or a bazooka can change every symbol except the fishermen. The feature plays on special reels.
Limits printed on the pages
Page 2 puts the ceiling at 4,000x bet. A free spins round that gets there stops, pays and drops any spins left. None of the seven rules pages mentions a buy option, an Ante Bet or a jackpot.
Fishing with a plan
Every RM figure in the table was read at a total bet of RM2.00. Set a budget, start small while the changing reels feel new, and stop when the budget is spent. Treat it as entertainment, not a way to earn.
