243 ways and the symbol line-up
Page 1 says all symbols pay left to right on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, across 243 ways. Each payway pays only its top win; wins on separate payways are added.
The top symbol is a woman with flowers in her dark hair, at RM8.00 for five at a total bet of RM2.00, followed by the tiger, gold chest, sword, lute, letters and numbers. The yin-yang FREE SPINS symbol pays too, RM4.00 for five.
What the MYSTERY symbol can reveal
The MYSTERY symbol can appear on all reels in both the base game and free spins. In the base game, after it hits it reveals one of three symbols at random:
- SCATTER: 3 pay 10x total bet, 4 pay 40x total bet, 5 pay the GRAND award of 8000x total bet
- WILD with a random multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x8, x10, x15, x20 or x25
- FREE SPINS symbol: if 3 or more are on the screen after the reveal, the free spins round is awarded
Two kinds of Wild
The ordinary Wild is a gold coin with a red square centre. It substitutes for all symbols except the FREE SPINS symbol and the SCATTER, and appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. The rules pages print no pay for the Wild itself.
A Wild revealed by a MYSTERY symbol applies its multiplier to every win passing through it, and several in one combination add their multipliers together. The pages describe the SCATTER only as a MYSTERY reveal.
Free spins with taller reels
Three, four or five FREE SPINS symbols give 15, 20 or 25 free spins. During the round two more symbols can land by themselves or be revealed by MYSTERY symbols:
- REEL SIZE INCREASE (green circle with a red arrow): its reel grows by one position for the rest of the round, up to six positions per reel
- ADDITIONAL FREE SPINS (red envelope): adds a random 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 free spins
- 2, 3, 4 or 5 FREE SPINS symbols during the round retrigger the feature for 2, 3, 4 or 5 more spins
The cap and the buy price
The maximum win is 8,035x bet in the base game and free spins; a free spins round that reaches it ends at once and is paid. Buying the free spins from the base game costs 100x the current total bet. The page adds that 3, 4 or 5 SCATTERS can hit on a bought triggering spin; that wording is the page's own.

Table amounts were read at a total bet of RM2.00 and scale with your stake, from RM0.25 to RM500.00. Set a budget first and stop once it is gone.
Mystery of the Orient paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows for 5, 4 or 3 matching symbols at a total bet of RM2.00; they change with your bet. Scatter pays are times the total bet.
