Five numbered lines
Page 2 draws the paylines as five small numbered diagrams, 1 to 5. Symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, along a selected payline. Each line pays only its highest win, and wins on several lines are added to the total win.
Page 2 counts wins in coins multiplied by bet per line; page 1 shows them as RM amounts at a total bet of RM2.00, which this guide uses.
Two symbols share the top figure
The Wild, an orange gem wrapped in flames, shows RM1,000.00 for five, RM280.00 for four and RM20.00 for three. The gold bell Scatter also shows RM1,000.00 for five, followed by RM30.00 for four and RM10.00 for three.
The Wild works along a payline and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. The bell pays on any position, with no line needed.
Apple, a pair and a trio
On page 1 the red apple has a row of its own, the orange and plums print the same amounts, and the cherries, lemon and bananas share another set. The apple matches the orange and plums at three of a kind and only pulls away at four and five:
- Red apple: RM480.00 for five, RM100.00 for four, RM6.00 for three.
- Orange and plums: RM92.00 for five, RM20.00 for four, RM6.00 for three.
- Cherries, lemon and bananas: RM44.00 for five, RM10.00 for four, RM4.00 for three.
The bell only pays
The rules pages do not say the bell starts free spins or a bonus round, and they do not mention a multiplier, a Buy Feature, a jackpot or a gamble option. No maximum win is printed either.
Buttons, settings and autoplay
The plus and minus buttons open the bet menu, with COINS PER LINE and COIN VALUE fields. A speed button cycles through normal, quick and turbo spin, and the settings menu holds the intro screen, sound options and game history. AUTOPLAY has a SKIP SCREENS option and is pressed again to stop. The CREDIT and BET labels switch between coins and cash view. Page 2 adds that SPACE and ENTER on the keyboard start and stop the spin, and that a malfunction voids all pays and plays.
A plan before the first spin
With bets from RM0.05 to RM500.00, decide your budget first and pick a low bet while you learn the five lines. The RM figures on page 1 belong to the RM2.00 total bet. Game history in the settings menu shows your past rounds. Stop when the budget is used.
Shining Hot 5 paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows at a total bet of RM2.00 for 5, 4 or 3 matching symbols on a payline; they change with your bet.
