A crew of cartoon pirates
The reels sit in a gilded frame on a sunny beach. The top symbols are cartoon pirates told apart by their hats: green tricorn, red with a feather, blue with a white ruff collar, and brown with a feather. Wooden spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds fill the lower pays. Wins pay on 20 paylines from the leftmost reel, and each line pays only its highest win.
The WILD is a gold coin. It lands on all reels, replaces everything except BONUS and also counts as a COIN. It pays on its own too: RM200.00 for five at a RM2.00 bet, the same as the green-hat pirate.
How the TREASURE BONUS counts
The COIN symbol can land on any reel. Five or more anywhere on the screen in the base game win a prize set only by how many coins there are, printed as multiples of base bet:
- 5 coins 1x, 6 coins 2x, 7 coins 5x, 8 coins 20x
- 9 coins 50x, 10 or 11 coins 100x
- 12 to 14 coins 500x, 15 coins 1,000x base bet
SUPER coins on reel 5
In the base game two special coins can turn up on reel 5. The SUPER WILD COIN is a coin that is also a Wild, substituting for all symbols except BONUS. The SUPER COIN is described simply as a coin. Each carries a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x that applies to the TREASURE BONUS win of that spin. Neither appears during free spins.
Free spins with a bigger treasure table
Three BONUS symbols, golden skulls with an eyepatch on reels 2, 3 and 4, start the round. The number of free spins is drawn at random before it begins: 8, 10, 12, 15 or 20. Three more BONUS symbols during the round add 8 spins, and special reels are in play.
Inside free spins only 3 COIN symbols are needed for a TREASURE BONUS, and the table is larger: 3 coins pay 1x base bet, 7 coins 50x, 10 coins 1,000x, 12 to 14 coins 2,500x and 15 coins 10,000x base bet. The page adds that hitting the top TREASURE BONUS reaches the maximum win, and any spins left are forfeited.
Ante Bet and the cap
Page 4 says the ANTE BET raises the bet multiplier to 25x bet per line; this guide lists that price only. The rules pages do not mention a buy feature. Total wins are limited to 10,000x bet; a round that reaches it ends at once.
Sailing on a budget
Pirate and card amounts use a RM2.00 total bet and follow your stake. Set a limit, try small bets first and treat each spin as entertainment, not income.
Smugglers Cove paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows for 5, 4 or 3 symbols on a line at a total bet of RM2.00; they change with your bet.
