The character substitute
The first box on page one shows the four Chinese characters ηηε€§εΈ in green and gold. It prints 10000 for 5, 2000 for 4, 200 for 3 and 10 for 2, and one rule line: it substitutes for all symbols except the red tile and the BONUS lantern. The page does not use the word WILD for it.
The red tile
The middle box shows a red square tile with a gold beast drawn on it. It prints 100 for 5, 25 for 4 and 5 for 3, and says the prizes are multiplied by the total bet. The page does not call it SCATTER and gives it no feature of its own.
The BONUS lantern
The third box shows a red lantern with the word BONUS. When it appears on reels 1 and 5 it wins one of two things:
- During the normal game: the bonus game feature.
- During the free game feature: a random number of additional free games with the initial multiplier.
Bonus game: lantern first, chest second
The BONUS GAME box under the example picture sets out two picks. First you choose one lantern to win the free games. Then you choose one chest to reveal the multiplier, and the free games start. The page adds that the result may be up to 16 free games with 6 multiplier.
Free games rules
The FREE GAMES box says the feature will be played at the lines and bet of the triggering game, and all prizes are multiplied by the multiplier.
Paytable page and paylines
Page two holds eight boxes. The top row shows four painted figures: a bearded emperor in a beaded crown, a lady in a purple robe with a gold headdress, a warrior in a silver helmet with a mark on his forehead and a smiling bearded man in a red robe; each of these prints a value for 2. The bottom row shows four discs in green jade, white jade, red and blue, which start at 3.
Three lines follow: all symbols begin with leftmost reel and pay left to right only on adjacent reels on an active payline; all wins are multiplied by the line bet; only the highest win is paid on each payline. Below them sit twenty small payline grids numbered 1 to 20.
Not on the INFO pages
There is no gamble rule, no jackpot rule and no buy option on either page, so the RANDOM, MINOR and MAJOR meters on the game screen are not covered here. Set a spending limit before you play and stick to it.

Values as printed on the INFO pages. The page says all wins are multiplied by the line bet; the red tile box says its prizes are multiplied by the total bet. The BONUS lantern prints no values.
