How the 4096 ways are counted
The Help Page describes Gold Panther as a 6 reels, 4096 ways game without paylines. A win needs matching symbols on adjacent reels, read from left to right from the leftmost reel; SCATTER is the only exception. The Paytable page shows this with diagrams for 2 OF KIND up to 6 OF KIND and one NO WIN example. Only the highest symbol pay is awarded in a winning combination, and ways wins are combined and added.
WILD and SCATTER
The WILD symbol substitutes all symbols except SCATTER. It appears on reels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 only, in the main game and in the free game. SCATTER symbols appear randomly anywhere on the reels.
Starting the Free Game Feature
3 or more SCATTER on any reels trigger the Free Game Feature, and the number of SCATTER that triggered it decides how many free spins are given:
- 3 SCATTER: 8 Free Spins
- 4 SCATTER: 15 Free Spins
- 5 SCATTER: 25 Free Spins
- 6 SCATTER: 100 Free Spins
More free spins during the feature
All free games are played with the same bet level as the base game that triggered them. Inside the feature the retrigger needs only 2 or more SCATTER, and the extra free games are added to the ones still remaining. The second table on the Paytable page adds a row for 2 SCATTER and keeps the 3 to 6 SCATTER rows shown above:

WILD multipliers in the free games
During the free games, a WILD symbol that is part of a winning combination randomly multiplies the winnings by x2, x3 or x5. When a few WILD symbols appear in the same spin, their multipliers are only added together and do not multiply each other. The Free Games Feature ends when no free games remain.
Reading the paytable
Columns run for 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 of a kind. The panther pays the most, 300 for 6 and 40 for 2. The wolf and the boar share one row, as do the ram and the owl; these animal symbols also pay for 2 of a kind. A and K, Q and J, and 10 and 9 are paired the same way and pay from 3 of a kind. The Paytable page says this is a 40 credits game with payout calculation based on the designated credits; the Help Page gives line wins as Credit X the corresponding multiplier in the paytable.
