Paylines and how wins are counted
The main game has 40 paylines, shown as a picture on the rules page. Winning combinations pay from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel. Each combination is counted once at its highest applicable reward, and several wins are added together.
Wild and Scatter symbols
The wild is the yin-yang picture. It substitutes for all symbols except the Yuanbao symbols; the exception list shows only the gold and silver Yuanbao pictures.
The Scatter is a gold coin with a square hole. In the main game it flies to the bag above to accumulate values and can trigger a Bag Upgrade or Buddha Spin. In Buddha Spin its reward matches the bag directly above in the same column.
Yuanbao and the Free Game
Each gold or silver Yuanbao carries a random prize amount; the page adds that it may change depending on the bet stage, without explaining the term. When 5 or more appear in the main game, their total prize value is awarded and the Free Game starts, with as many free spins as there are Yuanbao on the screen, at the same bet as the triggering game.
Lucky Bags and lanterns
During the Free Game the Yuanbao prize values fly up into the Lucky Bags above the reels and are collected there. Collected gold Yuanbao are stored in the lanterns on the right side, and each one adds +1 to the lantern multiplier. Their values start from the base value, not continuing from the main game.
Buddha Spin
Buddha Spin is always triggered at the end of the Free Game. The Free Game list calls that step the Fortune Spin feature, and the page does not say whether the two names mean the same thing. You have one spin at a time, and each Scatter or JP Scatter that lands adds one more. The lantern multipliers are kept, and a Multiplier Upgrade before the spin can raise all of them to x10. When the spins are used, the scatter rewards are multiplied by the lantern multipliers.
The JP Scatter, a red lidded pot, appears only in Buddha Spin and its icon can show a CLASSIC, RICH, LEGEND or EPIC wheel. The page says these correspond to specific bet multipliers and that qualifying players receive matching rewards after Buddha Spin ends.
Tips
Check the bet before every spin, set a budget and stop at your limit. Tapping the middle of the reels also starts a spin, so keep your finger away from it.
