Two paytables
The PAYTABLE - Normal Game and PAYTABLE - Free Game parts list the same symbols in the same order, but with different numbers. In the normal game the red orb prints 25, 7.5 and 2.5; in the free game table it prints 10, 5 and 1.25.
The other symbols are the yin-yang, the flame feather, the lotus, and the letters A, K, Q, J with the numbers 10 and 9. The first table below is the normal game table and the second is the free game table, both as printed.
Free games on 8 rows
The FREE GAME symbol, a treasure chest labelled FREE GAME, only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and prints 2 for 3 symbols. 3 FREE GAME symbols anywhere on the reels trigger 8 free games. On a retrigger, the player wins 8 new free games added to the current number, and free games can accumulate to 50.
In the free game, the reels expand to 8 rows and the bonus game is not triggered. In addition to line wins, players can directly win with the SCATTER symbols.
Bonus game: held SCATTER and row unlocks
4 SCATTER symbols anywhere on the reels trigger 3 bonus games. All SCATTER symbols are held in position and all other positions turn into individual reels. If one or more additional SCATTER symbols are spun up, the number of BONUS GAME remaining is reset to 3. All prizes appearing on SCATTER are awarded at the end of BONUS GAME.
In the bonus game, the reels extend to 8 rows, and the fifth to eighth rows from the bottom up are locked. SCATTER symbols in the unlocked areas unlock rows when they reach set amounts: 8 SCATTER unlock the fifth row, 12 the sixth, 16 the seventh and 20 the eighth.
WILD and general rules
WILD substitutes for all symbols except FREE GAME and SCATTER. The page prints no pay row for WILD. All pays are left to right on adjacent reels and match the symbol numbers in the paytable, and only the highest win is paid on each payline. Malfunction voids all pays and play.
