Ways, the special reel and cascades
The 6 reels spin from top to bottom; the special reel above reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 spins from right to left. Apart from the Cai Shen bonus symbols, wins pay from left to right on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, are multiplied by the bet multiplier, and only the highest winning combination is paid on each pay way.
Each win is multiplied by the current bonus multiplier above the reels. The winning symbols, except the framed symbol, are then removed. On reels 1 to 6 new symbols fill from the top; on the special reel the rest move from right to left and new symbols fill from the right, until there are no more winning combinations.
Silver frame, gold frame, Wild
Framed symbols carry a silver or gold frame and appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only; the Wild and the Free Spin Bonus symbol are never framed. The silver framed symbol appears at random. A framed symbol pays the same as its plain version and can combine with it.
When a silver framed symbol is part of a win, after the win is awarded it becomes a gold framed symbol of the same size, and the symbol inside changes at random into any paytable symbol except the Wild and the Free Spin Bonus symbol. If it is part of a win again, it becomes a Wild of the same size. The Wild exists only this way, appears only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and substitutes for all symbols except the Free Spin Bonus symbol. A winning Wild is removed with the other winning symbols and the rest cascade.
Caishen is Coming, Double Bonus
The Free Spin Bonus symbol, a Cai Shen figure, appears on all reels. When winning combinations appear it turns into the Free Spin Bonus Plus symbol with a random +1, +2, +3, +4 or +5 label, or, on reel 6 in the main game only, into the Free Spin Bonus Multiplier symbol labelled X2.
In a winning spin, each Plus symbol adds its +1 to +5 to the bonus multiplier; then each X2 symbol multiplies the current bonus multiplier by 2. It applies to every cascading win until no winning combinations remain and goes back to 1X at the start of the next spin.
Free Spin Bonus
Any 4 Free Spin Bonus symbols on the main game reels trigger the Free Spin Bonus with 10 free spins, starting from the main game bonus multiplier. Any 4 during the bonus award 10 more, to a maximum of 30 free spins in a single bought game.
In the bonus the Free Spin Bonus symbol only turns into the Plus symbol, and the bonus multiplier keeps accumulating until the feature ends.
