How the 243 ways pay
You select the bet to play and all positions are valid. A winning combination pays only when it appears on valid positions of adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel, except the gold ingot. Each winning combination amount is multiplied by bet 1 and by the number of winning symbols on each reel. For each symbol, only the highest winning combination is paid on each spin.
Symbols and paytable
The top symbol is the gold horse head coin on red: 350, 200 and 60 for 5, 4 and 3 symbols. Next come the golden sailing ship on blue (200, 120, 35), the jade bangle (150, 100, 35), the jade gourd (150, 100, 25), and the bat holding a coin and the coins with a red knot (both 125, 80, 25). A and K pay 100, 60, 20, Q pays 100, 40, 15, and J, 10 and 9 pay 60, 30, 15.
The rules page prints these numbers for denomination 0.01 and bet multiplier 1, and says all wins show for a 1 credit bet; they change with your bet. The Free Spin Bonus pay section prints only the six picture symbols, with the same numbers.
WILD and the gold ingot
In the base game the WILD is a red tile with gold Chinese characters. It only appears in the base game on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for all symbols except the gold ingot. In the Free Spin Bonus the WILD is the same tile in a gold frame; it substitutes for all symbols except the gold ingot and only appears on reels 1 and 5.
The gold ingot on green is the Free Spin Bonus symbol. The rules page prints any 3 = 5 credits times the bet, and it only appears on reels 1, 2 and 3.
Free Spin Bonus
3 gold ingots on reels 1, 2 and 3 initiate the Free Spin Bonus with 8 free spins. During the bonus, 3 gold ingots can award an additional 8 free spins, to a maximum of 999 free spins. Press the spin button to start; the bonus plays automatically until all free spins are completed, and the bet stays the same as the spin that triggered it.
Re-spin Bonus
If both reels 1 and 5 are full with the WILD tile in the Free Spin Bonus, the Re-spin Bonus starts and reels 2, 3 and 4 re-spin once more. The golden rearing horse on red is a WILD and becomes the long WILD picture when it appears in winning combinations in the Re-spin Bonus. The gold ingot does not appear in the Re-spin Bonus.
