27 ways instead of lines
Wins pay from the leftmost reel to the right on adjacent reels, with only the highest win per way paid. The ways picture marks example columns YES and NO. The Wild, a red-rock canyon tile, replaces every symbol except Coin and Collect symbols and pays 5.00 for three at a bet of 1. The Bison is the only symbol with a two-of-a-kind pay (1.00) and matches the Wild with 5.00 for three.
The three coin roles
- Bison Coin, a gold coin with a bison head: reels 1 and 3, with a prize above it of your bet times x1, x2, x3, x5, x8, x10 or x12.
- Mini, Minor, Major and Grand coins: reels 1 and 3 only, each worth a fixed bet x15, x25, x100 or x1000.
- Bison coin on a red face (the Bonus symbol): reel 2 only. In the base game, a Bison Coin on reel 1 or 3 plus this coin on reel 2 collects every coin prize on the screen. Coin symbols on all reels trigger Hold & Respin.
A Coin Pile that fills up
Every landing Bison Coin adds coins to the Coin Pile. When the pile is full, it tosses Coin or Collect symbols onto the board and triggers the bonus game. The help page does not say how many coins fill it, and it adds that the visual build-up does not affect the probability of triggering the Toss feature or the bonus game. It also says objects in the game interface are for looks only and do not reflect the odds or payouts.
How Hold & Respin runs
Base-game prizes can be carried into the bonus. Only the six special symbols land, and the red coin locks on reel 2. Each Bison Coin on reel 1 or 3 is collected into the bonus total and then cleared. Three spins to start; any special symbol puts the counter back to 3, and at 0 the accumulated prizes are paid. The bonus uses the same bet as the spin that triggered it.
Setting your limits
Because the bonus keeps the triggering bet, choose a bet you are comfortable with before you spin and keep it inside a fixed budget. Read the coin values at that bet, and stop when the budget is used.
