The Respin Feature step by step
The help page sets out the feature in a few short lines:
- Whenever a Wild lands, it expands to cover the entire reel.
- After expanding, it locks in place and triggers a Respin.
- If more Wilds land during the Respin, the feature repeats, and it carries on as long as additional Wilds land.
- It ends when a Respin brings no new Wild, or when all 5 reels are fully covered with Wilds.
A Wild with no reel limit
The help page says the Wild lands on all reels, including the first and the last, and substitutes for all other symbols. It is also a paying symbol in its own right: the crown sits at the top of the paytable with 50.00 for five, 5.00 for four and 2.50 for three at a bet of 1.
The help page does not say what a board of five locked Wild reels pays beyond the normal paytable and lines, so we do not put a figure on it.
Lines and the fruit symbols
This is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot with 20 fixed paylines, numbered 01 to 20 in the payline picture. Symbols of one kind pay from the leftmost reel to the right on adjacent reels, only the highest win on each line is paid, and all line wins are added together. Under the crown, the Red 7 pays 10.00 for five, then come watermelon, grapes and plum, with orange, lemon and cherries sharing the lowest row of figures. Every symbol needs at least three in a row.
What the help page leaves out
The help page for Crown of Fortune is short. It describes no Scatter, no free games, no jackpot and no bonus game, and prints no maximum win, so this guide does not cover them. If the game screen shows something the help page does not explain, check it in the game itself. Malfunctions void all pays and plays, and a result stays valid if the connection drops after your bet is received.
Playing within limits
Give yourself a clear stop point before you start: a set budget and a set number of spins. The paytable is shown for a bet of 1 and changes with your bet level, so check it at your own stake, keep the bet small and treat each spin as entertainment.
