OTHER RULES: how wins are counted
All symbols pay left to right except the scatter symbol, which pays Any. Wins on different lines are added, and only the highest win is paid on each line.
Line wins are multiplied by bet per line; scatter wins are multiplied by total bet and added to line wins. Page 1 shows a PAYLINES strip numbered 1 to 20.
The SUBSTITUTE and the WITH column
The SUBSTITUTE is a golden helmet with a WILD ribbon. It only appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter symbol. The prize is doubled when one or more substitutes are in a winning combination.
So each symbol box on page 1 has a plain column and a WITH column, headed by the SUBSTITUTE picture, for wins where a SUBSTITUTE takes part. The SUBSTITUTE has no row of its own.
7 free games
7 free games are awarded when a SCATTER appears on reel 1 with a SUBSTITUTE on reel 5. During the feature some symbols have a background scatter symbol. Whenever 3 or more scatter symbols occur anywhere in a feature game, each will award up to 3 extra free games.
All prizes are tripled during free games. The feature cannot be retriggered, and free games are played at the lines and bet of the triggering game.
Progressive jackpot and autoplay
Page 2: a progressive jackpot can be won at the conclusion of any game, is triggered at random, and its wins are added to other wins.
In AUTOPLAY AND OPTIONS, Options opens the menu for your Auto Play parameters, Auto Play plays games automatically by those options, and Stop Auto deactivates automatic play.
The symbol boxes
The SCATTER is a gold round emblem: Any 5 pays 200, Any 4 15, Any 3 5 and Any 2 1. The white-bearded old master prints 2500, 500, 100 and 5, WITH 5000, 1000, 200 and 10. The sumo wrestler prints 1000, 125, 75 and 3, WITH 2000, 250, 150 and 6.
Boxes labelled of a kind share their values: samurai and geisha 500, 75, 15 and 2 (WITH 1000, 150, 30, 4); the green hooded figure and the red round crest 250, 30 and 10 (WITH 500, 60, 20); the blue crest and the pink swirl crest 200, 20 and 5 (WITH 400, 40, 10); the green wave crest and the pink flower 100, 15 and 5 (WITH 200, 30, 10).
