The Ship as substitute
Ships only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitute for all other symbols including scatters. The second page adds except DIAMONDS, so the Ship does not stand in for DIAMONDS. No pay value of its own is printed for the Ship.
Free Game Feature
12, 20 or 50 free games are awarded when 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively, occur anywhere. During the free games all wins that include a Ship are multiplied by 4 and all other wins are doubled. The feature can be retriggered, and free games are played at the lines and bet of the triggering game.
The paytable: from one symbol to five
The officer in the bicorne hat is the only symbol that prints a value for 1, besides values for 5, 4, 3 and 2. The red-coat soldier with a telescope and the pair of a cannon and a bell print values for 5, 4, 3 and 2. The letters A and K, Q and J, and the numbers 10 and 9 print values for 5, 4 and 3. The paired boxes are marked OF A KIND.
The Flag and the DIAMONDS Prize box
The Flag is the Scatter and prints 100 for 5, 10 for 4 and 3 for 3; scatter wins are multiplied by total bet and added to line wins.
Page two has a Prize box for DIAMONDS: 100 for 5, 20 for 4, 5 for 3 and 1 for 2, and DIAMONDS wins are multiplied by total bet. The WIN the Special Award section says different amounts of DIAMONDS give different prizes, and with 3 to 5 DIAMONDS the prize is selected manually. No further detail is printed.
