How Apple Machine Mega888 is played

The board has 24 symbol squares arranged in a ring. You pick a chip value (50, 100, 500, 1000 or 5000), place chips on the symbols you want, such as apple, orange, lemon, bell, watermelon, star, 77 or BAR, and press Start. A light runs around the ring and stops on one square.

If it stops on a symbol you bet on, you win your bet on that symbol times its multiplier. The screen is laid out sideways, so on a phone held upright it looks like landscape.

Small x3 squares

Some squares are marked x3. These are the small version of a symbol and pay only x3, far less than the big version. A big BAR pays x120, for example, while the BAR on the x50 square pays x50.

Lucky Game

If the light stops on a LUCKY square, the system makes a decision. If it succeeds, it keeps awarding random non-Lucky prizes for free; if it fails, play moves on to the next round.

• One LUCKY square gives 3 to 6 random lottery chances
• The other LUCKY square gives 1 to 3 random lottery chances

Double Game: guess Big or Small

After a win you can guess Small (1-7) or Big (8-14). Guess right and the prize doubles, and you may keep going; guess wrong and that win is cleared.

With the left and right arrows you can move part of the win into your balance and gamble only the rest, an easy way to control your risk.

The three-big-apples jackpot

A jackpot meter sits on the left of the screen. According to the help page, three big apples win the Jackpot. The help page gives no other maximum win.

Tips for playing

Low multipliers such as the apple have more squares on the board, while BAR and 77 pay much more but have fewer squares. Spread chips to fit your budget, use the Double Game carefully because a wrong guess wipes the win, and stop when the budget is gone.
