How betting ways are counted
Under Paylines, the panel says the betting ways win if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. A diagram shows one accepted pattern with a tick and one rejected pattern with a cross. The number of winning bet ways for a symbol is found by multiplying the number of adjacent winning symbols on each reel from the left; the page's example reads 1 x 3 x 2 = 6.
The winning symbol payout is then multiplied by the number of winning bet ways. The page's example symbol lists 6 50, 5 30, 4 20 and 3 10, and gives Total Winnings in this example as 10x6 = 60.
The win multiplier bar
In the Base Game the win multiplier starts at x1, followed by x2, x3 and x5. It increases to the next level every time after a win is paid and new symbols cascade down, and it resets to the default when no further wins occur. In the Free Game the same bar starts at x2 and moves through x4, x6 and x10.
Gold-plated symbols
Gold-plated payout symbols can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the Base Game. In the Free Game they keep appearing on reel 3, while on reels 2 and 4 they appear at random. Every round, after the new payout symbols cascade down, any gold-plated payout symbol that was involved in a win on the previous round transforms into a Wild.
The Wild
The Wild, a jester hat and crown marked WILD, substitutes for all symbols except the Free Game Scatter. The panel prints no pay values for it.
Free Game
Three Free Game Scatters, the gold trophy marked SCATTER, appearing anywhere on the reel trigger 10 Free Games, and every additional Scatter adds 2 extra Free Games. Free Games can be retriggered with 3 Free Game Scatters during the Free Game. Inside the Free Game the multiplier bar starts at x2 instead of x1.
Other notes from the panel
The spade, heart, diamond and club cards come in two pairs that each share one set of values. The game screen shows a BUY FEATURE button, but the help panel prints no rule for it. Under Gaming Terms, malfunction voids all pays and plays.
Emperor Riches paytable
Values as printed on the help page for 5, 4 and 3 symbols; the page does not name the bet they are for. Spade and heart share one row, diamond and club share another.
