Wins from either end
The Both Ways section sets the line rule. A betting line wins if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right, or from the rightmost reel to the left. Only the highest win per bet line is paid.
Reading the symbol values
Eight pay symbols are listed, each with values for 5, 4, 3 and 2 symbols. The list opens with a pair of gold golf balls, then a silver golf ball and a bronze golf ball. After them come a golf cart, a blue golf bag with clubs, a red flag, a glass of beer and a pair of golf shoes.
The panel does not say what the numbers are measured against, so the table below copies them exactly as printed.
The Wild and its multipliers
The Wild is a golden golf ball with a golden flag and the word WILD. According to the panel, the Wild symbol substitutes for every symbol except the Special Symbol, and it appears on reels 2, 3, and 4.
Under the heading Multiplier Wild, the multiplier list is x2, x3, x5 and x10. When 2 multiplier wilds appear on the reels, their multipliers add together.
Three Scatters and the Bonus Game
The panel shows three different Scatter symbols, labelled Scatter 1, Scatter 2 and Scatter 3; Scatter 2 is a duck and Scatter 3 is a fish. No pay values are printed for them.
The Bonus Game is triggered when 3 of the same scatter symbol appear consecutively from the leftmost reel to the right, or from the rightmost reel to the left. It is played as 3 rounds of golf club select that give the bonus reward. The panel adds that the Bonus Game can also be triggered at random during a normal spin.
The Extra Bet switch
An EXTRA BET switch with Off and On positions has its own section, headed Ex bet. With it on, the bet is 1.5x of the current bet, and the Scatter symbol appears in only 1 type on the reels instead of 3 types.
Before your first spin
The Gaming Terms add one line: malfunction voids all pays and plays. Set a spending limit before you start and stop when you reach it.
