Symbols and the paytable
The Paytable page lists eight paying symbols, each with three values for 5, 4 and 3 matching symbols. The woman with black hair and hairpins is the top line at 20, 15 and 10, then the red paper umbrella at 15, 10 and 5. The pair of wooden sandals and the throwing dagger are both printed at 10, 5 and 3, A and K at 5, 3 and 2, and Q and J at 3, 2 and 1. These are values printed on the Paytable page; the rules page says a win is the value multiplied by the bet size and bet level, so they are not RM amounts.
How the ways pay
The game is played with a 20 base bet, bet level 1 to 10 and bet size 0.01 to 5.00, in RM. A win counts when the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right. The winning ways for a symbol are the adjacent winning symbols on each reel multiplied together, and the payout is multiplied by them. The page example is 1 x 2 x 2 x 1 = 4, giving 2 x 4 = 8. Simultaneous wins on different ways are added. Winning symbols explode and the symbols above cascade down until no winning combination remains.
Some symbols may occupy 2 to 4 symbols' spaces, and each of these counts as a single symbol in payout calculations. The Wild symbol appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only and substitutes for all symbols except Scatter.
Multiplier windows
At the start of any main game spin the multiplier windows on the left of reel 1 are inactive. Any winning symbol in row 1, 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 of reel 1 either activates that row's window, if it is inactive, or increases that row's multiplier by x2, if it is active, after wins are paid. At the end of the spin, wins are multiplied by the current total sum of the multipliers.
Free spins and maximum win
3 Scatter symbols appearing anywhere trigger the Free Spins Feature with 10 free spins, and each additional Scatter symbol triggers 2 more free spins. Free spins use the bet size and bet level of the triggering spin and can be retriggered. The windows start inactive and work the same way, and they remain until the feature ends.
The rules page prints a maximum win of 5,000x of the bet amount. When the total win reaches it, the spin ends.
Geisha's Revenge paytable
