Generals, ships and 25 lines
The rules pages show a payline diagram with 25 lines. Every win is read left to right across adjacent reels, beginning on reel 1. The three armoured generals sit at the top of the table and are the only symbols that pay for two of a kind; the green war junk, the golden helmet with a red plume and the curved sword with a round shield come next, followed by A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9.
The red dragon banner is the Wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the Scatter, and the rules pages print no pays for it.
Spoils of War: collecting 40 points
In every base game spin where the blue, green and red generals all hit, you gain one point. The rules pages describe the steps like this:
- The prize starts at 0 and increases by 2% of every bet made
- 40 points win the Progressive Prize and start the Spoils of War Bonus Game
- In the bonus game you select 1 of 8 envelopes
- The envelope multiplies the prize by 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 20x, 50x or 100x
- The feature is not available during the free spins round
Three plans for the Battle of Red Cliffs
Three golden palace Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the Battle of Red Cliffs Free Spins Round. First you choose one of three options; each sets which generals become wild on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5:
- VANITY: the red general becomes wild, 20 free spins
- INTRIGUE: the green and red generals become wild, 10 free spins
- ALL-OUT WAR: the blue, green and red generals become wild, 5 free spins
Winning more spins
If the palace Scatter hits on reels 1, 3 and 5 again during the round, you receive the same number of free spins and the same option you chose at the start. The free spins win is added to the payline win. The rules pages do not mention a Buy Feature, and they print no maximum win.
Playing with a plan of your own
Every RM figure in the table was read at a RM2.00 total bet and moves with your stake. Set a budget first, keep each spin small, and do not let the points counter become a reason to keep going. When the budget is used up, end the session.
