Lines and stacked symbols
Page 4 draws 25 paylines across 5 reels. Symbols pay left to right on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, only the highest win per line is paid, and wins on different lines are added. Page 2 says that during normal spins every symbol except the Scatter comes in stacks.
The four portraits pay from two in a row; the four gold coins marked with the Chinese numerals four, three, two and one pay from three. At a total bet of RM2.00, five monkey warriors show RM8.00 and five of the top coin RM1.20.
Wild and Scatter
The Wild is a green jade disc that replaces every symbol except the Scatter, and it pays on its own: RM32.00 for five down to RM0.80 for two at RM2.00. The Scatter is a gold medallion reading FREE SPINS. Three or more anywhere on the reels award 5 free spins. No Scatter pay values are printed.
The five free spins options
When the round begins you choose one of five options. Each uses its own reel set with a single stacked symbol, and each carries a win multiplier: the Wild at 1x, the monkey warrior at 2x, the monk at 3x, the pig-faced companion at 4x and the bearded warrior at 5x. Each option card on page 3 also repeats that symbol's payout. The rules page does not explain further how the multiplier is applied.
Three or more Scatters during the round add 3 more free spins with the option you already picked, and the page says there is no limit.
What the rules pages leave out
The rules pages print no maximum win and no minimum or maximum bet, and they do not mention a buy option. All values are expressed as actual wins in coins, and a malfunction voids all pays and plays.
A calm way to play
Set a spending limit first and use a small line bet while you get to know the stacks. Before your first free spins round, look at the option cards on page 3, so the choice feels clear rather than rushed. Once the limit is hit, call it a session.
Journey to the West paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows for 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 symbols on a line at a total bet of RM2.00; they change with your bet.
