The card before the round
Every free spins round opens with a pick from 12 face-down cards. A card can reveal one of these, or nothing:
- MORE FISH!: extra MONEY symbols on the reel strips for that round.
- HIGHER MULTIPLIERS!: each retrigger's collection multiplier becomes x4, x6 and then x20.
- 3 FISHERMAN TO RETRIGGER: 3 collected fishermen retrigger instead of 4, and the higher multiplier starts on the next free spin, not after the batch.
- MEGA: the other three together.
Four bet settings, as printed
Page 4 lets you choose the bet multiplier. 10x is normal play. 15x switches Buy Free Spins off. 16x and 25x both bring the REPEAT feature: after free spins, the round may randomly replay from the start with its original spins and modifiers, keeping what it already paid. The page does not say whether buying is also switched off at 16x or 25x.
Three buy prices
From the base game, 100x base bet buys free spins with the usual card pick, 160x a round ending with the REPEAT feature, 1250x a round with MEGA guaranteed. The base bet is the bet before any feature increase.
Lines, Scatters and fish values
Wins pay left to right on the 10 lines. A speedboat is the top symbol and the only one paying for 2. Then come a rainbow dragonfly, a water pistol, a tackle box, a bunch of fish (the MONEY symbol) and A to 10. The Scatter, a leaping fish on a round badge, gives 10, 15 or 20 spins for 3, 4 or 5. When only two land, the reels holding them can slide down one row while the rest respin, or one more Scatter can appear after the spin.
Each fish bunch carries 2x to 5000x base bet, won during free spins, where it can also land as a 2x2 or 3x3 giant.
The fisherman in free spins
The Wild is a bearded fisherman in a white jacket and purple goggles, on all reels in free spins only. He collects every fish value on screen. Each 4th fisherman retriggers 10 spins and lifts the collection multiplier to 2x, 3x and then 10x, with no retrigger after level four. At the end of a free spin, if fishermen are on screen but no MONEY symbols, MONEY symbols can appear in random positions, or a BASS-OOKA! can swap out every symbol other than the fishermen; if MONEY symbols are there but no fishermen, a hook can pull a random reel up to bring fishermen in.
A calm fishing trip
Bets run from RM0.10 to RM1,250.00 and wins stop at 5,000x bet. The rules pages do not mention a jackpot, and page 6 names a HYPERPLAY button without explaining it. Know what each setting costs before you change it, keep a budget, and leave when it is spent.
Big Bass Reel Repeat paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows at a total bet of RM2.00 for 5, 4, 3 or 2 symbols on a line; they change with your bet.
