Magic Journey: light up the score card

Two boards, one spin

Page 1 describes a 1x5 slot plus a score card with a fixed 3x3 grid and 8 fixed paylines. You spin the slot, and every symbol that hits there is highlighted on the score card.

The nine game symbols are drawn characters: a crowned youth with a golden staff, a horned warrior in armour, a pig-faced figure in blue, a woman with a green fan, a golden monkey hero marked RESPIN, a red-haired youth with a spear, a bearded figure with a golden staff, a blue-green dragon creature and a girl with hair buns and ribbons. The rules give no separate pay to any single symbol.

When a line fills, a respin follows

Whenever at least one of the fixed paylines on the score card is filled with highlighted symbols, a free respin is triggered. Respin hits are highlighted too. The page says the respins continue as long as new paylines are being formed or the respin symbol is hit in the slot. At the end of the respin cycle the game pays according to the number of lines highlighted so far.

The rules pages do not say how many respins can run in a row or whether highlights carry over to the next paid spin. Only the golden monkey picture carries the RESPIN label; the pages do not explain that symbol further.

Pays counted in lines

The pay table is printed as multiples of the bet, not as RM amounts. There is no entry for 7 lines: the page says there is no possibility of winning on 7 lines at a time. No reason is given.

What else the rules pages say

All values are expressed as actual wins in coins. The bet runs from RM0.20 to RM480.00, the game opened at a total bet of RM2.00, and the bet menu shows the bet multiplier and the total bet in coins and cash. Malfunction voids all pays and plays. The rules pages print no maximum win and do not mention free spins, a Wild, a Scatter, a Buy Feature or an Ante Bet.

Keeping each session short

The whole pay table fits in seven lines, so one read before the first spin shows every amount a cycle can pay. Pick a budget, start with a small bet, let each respin cycle finish before you decide on the next spin, and stop when the budget is spent. Autoplay stops when you press the AUTOPLAY button again.

Magic Journey line pays

The rules page prints these pays as x bet by the number of highlighted score-card lines, not as RM amounts; the game opened at a total bet of RM2.00. No symbol paytable is printed.
