Five lines and nothing more
Page 2 draws five small payline diagrams, numbered 1 to 5. A line win must start on the leftmost reel and run left to right across adjacent reels along one of the selected paylines. A single line is paid for its highest win only; when several lines win at once, their wins are summed into the total win. The page also says all wins are multiplied by the bet per line; the paytable below is already in ringgit at a total bet of RM2.00.
Reading the fruit table
The red 7 sits far above the rest: RM2,000.00 for five, RM320.00 for four and RM40.00 for three at the RM2.00 bet. The red apple and the orange share the next row with RM208.00, RM72.00 and RM20.00. Grapes, cherries, lemon and watermelon each show RM88.00, RM24.00 and RM8.00.
The watermelon has one thing none of the others have: a pay for just two symbols, RM2.00. For the 7, the apple, the orange, the grapes, the cherries and the lemon, the smallest printed pay is for three.
The dollar Scatter
The gold dollar sign is the Scatter, and page 1 says it pays on any position, so it does not have to sit on a payline. Five show RM100.00, four RM20.00 and three RM4.00 at a total bet of RM2.00. The rules pages do not link it to any feature.
What the five pages leave out
The five pages do not mention a Wild, free spins, a bonus round, multipliers, a Buy Feature, a jackpot or a gamble option, and they print no maximum win. What they do describe is the paytable, the five lines, the controls and autoplay.
Stakes, coins and spin speed
The minimum bet is RM0.05 and the maximum RM500.00. Page 4 explains the bet menu: it lists the number of lines and your total bet in both coins and cash, and you set COINS PER LINE and COIN VALUE with the plus and minus buttons. You can switch the CREDIT and BET labels between coins and cash, pick normal, quick or turbo spin speed, and use SPACE or ENTER to start and stop on a keyboard.
A simple game, a simple plan
With only five lines and a low minimum bet, it is easy to keep stakes small. Decide on a budget before your first spin, check the paytable at the bet you choose, and stop when the budget is used. Play it for fun with money you can spare, never as a way to earn.
Striking Hot 5 paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows for 5, 4, 3 (and for the watermelon 2) matching symbols on a payline at a total bet of RM2.00; they change with your bet.
