Why reel 3 matters in free spins
In the base game, paying tiles marked in gold can appear at random on reels 2, 3 and 4, and a gold tile that is part of a win turns into a Wild for the next tumble. In free spins the rules pages go further: on reel 3, all symbols are gold. The Wild is a gold ingot on reels 2, 3 and 4 that replaces every symbol except the Scatter. Special reels in the round are noted but not described.
Starting and extending the round
The Scatter is a gold-red Sheng character that can land on any reel. Three or more start 10 free spins, plus 2 more for each Scatter beyond the third. Three or more during the round add another 10, again with 2 more per extra Scatter. Free-spin wins start at 2x, rising to 4x, 6x and 10x after each tumble, holding at 10x from the 4th tumble and returning to 2x when the tumbles end.
Ways and tumbles in the base game
Counting starts on the leftmost reel and moves right across adjacent reels, up to 2000 ways; each way pays only its highest win and wins on several ways are summed. Winning tiles clear and fresh ones drop in while new wins form. The base-game multiplier moves to 2x, 3x and 5x with each tumble, stays at 5x from the 4th and resets when the chain ends. The rules pages print no reel or row count.
The 25x bet multiplier and buying the round
The Ante Bet part of the rules offers two bet multipliers: 20x is normal play; with 25x the page says more Scatter symbols are present on the reels and Buy Free Spins is switched off. On the main screen it appears as a MORE SCATTERS switch beside the bet. The page also defines the base bet as the bet amount before feature-related increases.
Buy Free Spins starts the round from the base game for 88x the current base bet, with 3, 4 or 5 Scatters landing at random on that spin. This is a description, not a suggestion to buy.
The cap, the bet range and your budget
The rules pages limit the maximum win to 100,000x bet in the base game and free spins; a free-spin round that reaches it ends at once and the remaining spins are forfeited. Bets run from RM0.20 to RM600.00 and the paytable amounts follow your bet.
Play the normal 20x setting with a small bet while you learn the gold tiles, set a budget first and stop when it is used.
Mahjong Wins 2 paytable
RM amounts the rules page shows at a total bet of RM2.00 for 5, 4 and 3 tiles on adjacent reels from the left; they change with your bet.
