How the 243 ways are counted
Ways wins go to adjacent symbols from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel, except SCATTER, Lanterns and BONUS wins. Under one way only the highest symbol pay is awarded, and way wins are combined and added. The Paytable page adds that all wins show in credits except Major Adventure, Minor Adventure, x50 and x20 total bet.
WILD, SCATTER and BONUS
The WILD is an octagon with gold WILD lettering. It appears randomly on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the main game and the Free Game and substitutes all symbols except SCATTER, Red Lantern and BONUS.
The SCATTER is a pink fan. It appears on all reels in the main game and the Free Game, pays 50.00, 7.50 and 1.00 for 5, 4 and 3, and its wins add to the total win, Free Game included. The BONUS, a golden paw print, only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the main game.
Free Game: pick one of five
Three or more SCATTER on any reels trigger it, and the player chooses 1 of 5 options to start. Additional Free Spins won inside are played only after the current Free Game ends. The total bet stays that of the triggering spin.
The Booster Feature, step by step
The Paytable and Help pages describe the lantern round in this order:
- 6 to 14 Red Lantern symbols on any reel in the main game trigger it and award 5 spins. Red Lantern prizes are x0.5, x0.8, x1, x1.5, x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, x20 or x50 multiplied by the total bet, and the actual value is shown.
- The triggering Red Lanterns stay in place; every other position turns into its own spinning reel, where only Gold Lantern, Green Lantern and +1 FREE SPIN symbols are active.
- Gold and Green Lanterns are held for the remaining spins. Each Gold Lantern rewards the sum value of the triggering Red Lanterns; each Green Lantern rewards the sum value of all Red, Gold and Green Lanterns. Gold is calculated first when both appear; several Greens are calculated one after another.
- Each +1 FREE SPIN rewards 1 additional spin and is not held.
- When no spins remain, the sum value on all lanterns is rewarded.
Wheel of Fortune and the Adventure Jackpot
In the main game only, 3 BONUS on reels 2, 3 and 4 spin a 12-segment wheel one time for Total Bet Multiplier x20, Total Bet Multiplier x50, the Minor or the Major prize. The Adventure Jackpot table lists Major and Minor Adventure as Progressive Prize. The Help Page adds that either progressive jackpot can be won at random during any spin.
Panda Opera paytable
Values as printed on the Paytable page (Symbols Payout Values) for 5, 4 and 3 symbols. The Help Page says: Symbol way wins = Credit X Corresponding multiplier according to paytable; SCATTER wins = Total Bet X Corresponding multiplier according to paytable.
