Eight of a kind, anywhere
The Help Page describes Sugar Bonanza as a 5x6 cascading game. All pays need to be combinations of 8 or more of the same symbol appearing anywhere on the reel in every spin. On the Paytable page, symbols never have to form a row or sit on neighbouring tiles; having enough copies of one symbol on the reel is what makes a win, and a bigger count of that symbol means a bigger win amount.
Cascades until nothing else wins
Once the winning combinations are worked out, those symbols vanish. Whatever is left drops to the bottom of the screen and fresh symbols come down from the top to fill the gaps. This repeats while the screen still shows a winning combination; when the reel has none left, the spin is over and every win from it is added together and paid.
SCATTER: its own pay and the way into Free Game
The SCATTER is a red tile labelled SCATTER. It appears randomly anywhere on the reel during main game and Free Game, and SCATTER wins are added to the winning combination.
In the main game, 4 or more SCATTER symbols anywhere reward 10 Free Spins. Landing 4 or more SCATTER symbols anywhere while Free Game is running adds 5 more free spins. Free Game ends when no free spins remain, and the total bet in Free Game is the same as the spin that triggered it. The Paytable page also prints the line: Mystery free game will trigger during main game.
Bonus multipliers in Free Game
During each free spin, bonus multiplier symbols ranging from x2 to x100 randomly appear on the reel. More than 1 can appear at a time, and additional ones can appear as a result of the cascading feature. When that spin finishes, its wins, cascade wins included, are summed and then multiplied by the total bonus multiplier before payment. The bonus multiplier is refreshed at the start of the next spin.
Buy Free Spins and Ante Bet
The Help Page prints both options as plain rules:
- Buy Free Spins: costs x100 of the Total Bet and goes straight into Free Game mode with 10 Free Spins.
- Ante Bet: each spin in ante bet mode is x1.25 of the total bet amount, and Buy Free Spins is disabled while ante bet mode is switched on.
