How the HITS table is laid out
Down the left edge the word HITS sits above five rows marked with crosses: XXXXX, XXXX, XXX, XX and X. The number of crosses is the number of matching symbols, so the XXXXX row holds the values for five and the X row the values for one. Each of the ten columns belongs to one symbol, and a cell left blank has no value for that count.
The page prints no unit next to the numbers. It does not say whether they are multiplied by a line bet or a total bet, so the values below are given exactly as printed and nothing more is read into them.
9, 10, J, Q, K and A
The six card symbols on the left of the table have values in the XXXXX, XXXX and XXX rows only; their XX and X cells are empty.
- 9 and 10: 100, 15 and 5.
- J and Q: 200, 20 and 5.
- K: 300, 25 and 5.
- A: 500, 30 and 10.
Wheel, anchor, map and cutlass
The four picture columns on the right also fill the XX row. The ship's wheel and the anchor share the same numbers: 1000, 100, 20 and 3. The treasure map prints 2500, 250, 50 and 5.
The cutlass in the last column is the only symbol with a value in the X row. Its column reads 5000, 500, 100, 10 and 2, from XXXXX down to X.
IS WILD and SCATTER panels
Below the table, a round picture of the captain carries the words IS WILD. The page gives it no values of its own and does not list which symbols it replaces or leaves out.
Next to it, the SCATTER panel shows a treasure chest with its own small table: XXXXX 100, XXXX 10, XXX 5 and XX 1. No free games or other feature are tied to the chest on this page.
What the help page leaves out
Because the help is one table, many things are simply not covered: the direction in which lines pay, free games, a jackpot, Auto Play and how wins are added together. This guide does not fill those gaps with guesses.
Playing sensibly
Set a budget before you start and stop once it is spent. Since the page states no pay basis, open the HITS table again whenever you want to check a number.
