Silver frame, gold frame, WILD
In the main game and the Free Game, symbols other than WILD and SCATTER that occupy 2 to 4 spaces on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 can appear randomly with a silver frame. When a silver-framed symbol is part of a win, it turns into a different random symbol, never WILD, KATT or SCATTER, and its frame turns gold.
If a gold-framed symbol is then part of a new winning combination after the cascade, it is transformed into a WILD symbol. The Help Page adds that Moving to WILD does not happen on the top cart reel.
Katt symbols and the bonus multiplier
Every Katt symbol that shows up on the reels during a spin gives the wins of that spin a x2 bonus multiplier. Several Katt symbols in the same spin are added up, and more can appear during the cascade. The bonus multiplier is reset to 0 when the spin ends.
Six reels and a Top Cart Reel
Royal Katt plays 6 main reels and 1 Top Cart Reel. Each reel has a random number of symbols, which gives the 2,025 - 32,400 Ways of the section title. Each reel shows up to 5 symbols; the Top Cart Reel has 4, spins from right to left and sits above reels 2 to 5. Symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 may take up 2 - 4 positions and count as a single symbol.
Apart from SCATTER, a ways win needs adjacent symbols running left to right from the leftmost reel. Only the highest symbol pay is awarded under the same way, and ways wins are added. Winning symbols are then removed and new ones fall in; on the Top Cart Reel new symbols come from the right. This continues until no new winning combinations are available.
Free Game and Buy Free Spins
SCATTER symbols can appear anywhere on the reel in the main game and the Free Game. 4 SCATTER symbols award 10 Free Spins, and each additional SCATTER symbol in the same spin adds 2 more Free Spins. SCATTER wins only give Free Spins and do not add to the total win.
During the Free Game the bonus multiplier starts at x2, and each Katt symbol that appears increases it by x2 until the Free Game ends. The Total Bet is the same as the spin that triggered the feature, and the Free Game ends when no free spins remain. Buy Free Spins lets you spend x100 of Total Bet to buy 12 Free Spins and enter Free Game mode instantly.
