7,776 ways and cascades
The Help Page calls Spirit of the Sea a 5 reels, 7,776 ways slot game with no payline. Wins are awarded to adjacent symbols from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel, except SCATTER wins. Only the highest symbol pay is awarded under the same way in a winning combination.
After a win is paid, the symbols that formed it are removed and new symbols fall into their place. The cascade continues until no new winning combinations are available.
WILD Multiply in the Main Game
In the Main Game the multiplier starts at x1. When a WILD appears on Reel 2 or Reel 4, each WILD increases the default and current win multipliers by x1 for cascading wins and holds until the end of the spin. The Paytable page also says the multiplier resets to x1 with every new cascade round. Each win in a cascade round is multiplied by the current WILD multiplier before the total win is calculated.
Free Game: x2 for every WILD
3 or more SCATTER anywhere on the reels trigger the Free Game. Each SCATTER randomly awards 2 to 5 Free Spins, and they add up to the total number of Free Spins. During the Free Game, each symbol marked +1 that appears awards one additional Free Spin. The Help Page also says Free Spins cannot be retriggered during the Free Game. The Total Bet stays the same as the triggering spin, and the Free Game ends when no free spin remains.
In the Free Game each WILD on Reel 2 or Reel 4 increases the win multiplier by x2 for cascading wins. When WILDs land on Reel 2 and Reel 4 at the same time, both win multipliers are added to the current multiplier for the remaining Free Spins. The Help Page example: with a multiplier of x2 and a current multiplier of x1, the next Free Spin starts with x3. The value keeps accumulating and resets to x1 at the end of the Free Game.

Paytable: four High Symbols, five Low Symbols
Values are printed for 5, 4 and 3 symbols. The purple treasure chest leads the High Symbol group at 0.60 for 5, followed by the red crown, the blue shell with a pearl and the green starfish. Among the Low Symbols, A sits on top; K and Q share one row of values, and J and 10 share another.
