The base game
Wins pay on 25 lines, in succession from the leftmost reel to the right, and only the highest win on each line is paid. The mariachi man is the Wild: he appears on every reel and replaces any symbol except the Scatter and the chillis. He also pays on his own, from 1.00 for two up to 80.00 for five at a bet of 1.
Below him come the guitar (the only other symbol that pays for two), maracas, sombrero, cactus and taco, then the card symbols A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9.
Pinata scatter
The pinata Scatter pays 2 x total bet when it lands on any three reels, and the same three reels activate the Free Game immediately. The Free Game starts with 12 rounds played on 2 boards at once.
Chilli collection in the Free Game
Under its Free Game heading, the help page lists what collected chillis unlock:
- 9 chillis: a 3rd board opens and the 5th reel is fixed as all Wild.
- 14 chillis: a 4th board opens and the 4th reel is fixed as all Wild.
- 30 chillis: the 3rd reel is fixed as all Wild on all 4 boards.
- 3 Scatters during the Free Game add 3 more free spins.
What the help page leaves open
The page does not say where the chillis come from or whether they also count in the main game. For the 9 and 14 steps it does not say clearly whether the fixed Wild reel applies to every board or only to the new one; only the 30-chilli step says all 4 boards. We leave those points open rather than guess.
Playing within your limits
Payouts on the help page are shown for a bet of 1 and follow the bet level you choose, so read the table at your own bet. Decide a budget first, start with small bets and stop when the budget is used. The help page does not mention a Buy Bonus or Extra Bet, and no maximum win is printed.
Hot Chilli paytable
Pays for 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 matching symbols on a line, shown for a bet of 1 as on the help page.
