Reels and lines
The help page describes a 6-reel slot. Wins start on the leftmost reel and pay left to right on adjacent reels, and 3 or more matching symbols win. It says the total pay lines are 40 ways, and the line picture shows 40 numbered lines. Only the highest win on each line is paid and wins on several lines are added. The number of rows is not written on the help page.
The daruma Mystery symbol
The red daruma doll with the character 吉 on its belly is called MYSTERIOUS on the help page, and MYSTERY in the free-game part. It only appears on reels 2 to 6. When it lands it randomly reveals one of the symbols already on the screen, apart from Wilds, Scatters and the daruma itself, and every one of those symbols becomes a Wild.
The help page prints no pay for the daruma; it changes what is already there. The help page does not say whether the daruma spot itself becomes a Wild, so we do not claim it.
The gold coin Wild
The Wild is a gold coin marked with Chinese characters. It replaces any symbol except the daruma and the Scatter. It also has its own paytable row, and it pays the same as the lucky cat: 10.00 for six of a kind at a bet of 1.
Free games and the special reel
The Scatter is a red shrine gate. In the base game it only lands on the first reel, and it needs company: a Scatter together with any one or more daruma symbols gives 5 free games.
In the free games, every reel where a daruma landed in the triggering base-game spin is marked as a special reel. The help page says that reel will always land a Mystery symbol on each spin, and that the other reels have a chance to show it as well. Free games use the bet of the spin that triggered them. The help page does not describe extra free games during the feature.
Playing with a plan
Payouts are shown for a bet of 1 and follow your chosen bet level, so look at the table at your own bet first. Set your budget before you start, keep bets small while you get used to how the daruma changes the screen, and stop when the budget is used.
