What the Deluxe help page adds
Set the Roma X help page next to this one and a few things change. Roma X shows a five-column, three-row picture with 15 numbered lines; Roma X Deluxe describes 6 reels and 5 rows with up to 32,400 ways, and its paytable has a six-of-a-kind column. Roma X never explains what clearing means, while this page says winning symbols are removed and replaced until no more wins form. The bonus rewards read the same in both; Berserk Mode and the lion medal levels appear only here.
Free games from eliminations
Free games come from chains of removals in one round. The help page first says that more than 4 consecutive eliminations earn a free game, then lists 4, 5, 6 or 7 consecutive eliminations as giving 3, 5, 10 or 20 free games. We print both as written. The same counts work inside the free game, and free games use the bet of the triggering game.
The bonus fight
Three Colosseum BONUS symbols in the main game start the bonus game. If two or fewer appear in the same elimination, nothing is triggered and those BONUS symbols disappear with the other cleared symbols.
Inside, the warrior has a helmet count: each attack he suffers takes 1 off it, and the bonus ends at 0. The starting number is not printed. In each battle you choose one of three coins, which sets off a dual swords, single sword or lion event. You hit the lion or defend against it to get a reward, and the help page says the lion has a chance to dodge attacks.
- Dual swords: Bet x20
- Single sword: Bet x10
- Lion: Bet x3
Berserk Mode and the lion medal
When a single sword or dual swords appear, the help page says there is a chance to trigger Berserk Mode, in which the fighter keeps attacking with the chosen weapon until the mode ends. A small golden lion medal also upgrades every 10 rounds through LV1 to LV6, granting x1, x2, x3, x5, x20 or x50. The help page does not say what that multiplier is applied to.
Wild and paying symbols
The Wild is a golden head crowned with laurel leaves. It stands in for any symbol except the Colosseum BONUS, and the help page prints no pay for it. Wins pay on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel, and only the highest prize per line counts.
Play with a plan
Bonus rewards are counted from your bet. Fix a budget before you start, use a small bet while you learn the fight screens and leave when the budget is used.
