Three firecrackers, seven modes
The help page says that when the purple, red and green firecrackers show on the reels, there is a chance to trigger the free game. The mode follows the firecrackers that triggered it: one colour gives the Purple, Red or Green free game, two colours give a combined mode, and all three give the Purple + Red + Green free game. The help page does not say how many Scatters are needed, and it adds that no extra feature effects are awarded once the free game is running.
What each firecracker adds
The three rules:
- Purple: 'Unlock dual reel specifications', with free spins counted separately. The help page does not show what the second set of reels looks like.
- Red: multiplier areas appear at random; when a marked area is filled, the coins inside it can receive a bonus multiplier. The multiplier values are not printed.
- Green: the starting number of rounds becomes 4 instead of 3.
Coins and the 15-coin finish
In the free game, coin symbols can land: a plain gold coin and coins marked MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND. The help page says their appearance resets the remaining number of rounds. The free game is settled when the rounds run out, or straight away once all 15 positions on the board hold a coin, and the total of every coin on the board is paid.
For a bet of 1, the GRAND coin is worth 500.00, MAJOR 50.00, MINOR 10.00 and MINI 5.00. A plain gold coin shows one of 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 0.80, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 2.50 or 3.00. Coins only appear in free games.
The main game
Between free games, 3 LUCKY LION is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with 50 fixed lines. Wins must start on the first reel and run left to right, and each line pays only its highest win. The gold tile with the Fu character is the Wild: it lands on all reels, replaces everything except the three firecrackers, works only in the main game and pays 4.00 for five on a line.
Before you spin
Values on the help page are for a bet of 1 and change with your bet, and free games keep the bet that triggered them. Settle on a budget, keep bets small while you see how each firecracker plays out, and stop once the budget is gone.
