The reels
The help page describes 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines. Every symbol except the Scatter pays from left to right, and wins on several lines are added. The paying pictures are a man in a fedora with a cigar, a pistol, a vintage black car and a glass of whisky, then A, K, Q and J. The Wild, an open briefcase full of banknotes, replaces any symbol except the Scatter and can land on all five reels; it also pays 5.00 for five on a line.
The Scatter: two or three makes a difference
The Scatter is a man in dark glasses seated in a red armchair. It appears on reels 1 to 5 in the main game only. Two Scatters give 1 Free Respin and switch on 1 to 3 Bonuses at random; three give 6 free spins, four give 10 and five give 15. No Scatter pays are printed.
The five Bonuses
Each Bonus has its own character portrait and number. When two or three switch on in the same round, they always run in order from Bonus 1 to Bonus 5.
- Bonus 1, Both Lines: symbols pay left to right and right to left for that round, and five in a line count as two wins.
- Bonus 2, Mystery Symbol: a 'WANTED' poster. The help page says it is randomly chosen and transformed into a mystery symbol between rounds 2 and 5, without explaining that wording; when revealed, all mystery symbols turn into the same symbol.
- Bonus 3, Mega Wild: large Wilds of 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 are scattered on the reels at random. The help page adds that part of Bonus 3 may cover Bonus 2.
- Bonus 4, Symbol Upgrade: one large picture symbol (not J, Q, K or A) is chosen at random, and every small J, Q, K and A on the reels turns into it.
- Bonus 5, Win Multiplier: line wins are multiplied by X2, X3, X5, X8 or X10.
Free games
Scatters do not land during free games. Instead, the help page says 1 to 3 types of Bonus trigger at random in every free round. Free games and the respin use the bet of the triggering spin.
A bet mode the page does not explain
The Game Rules say 'Winnings for normal bet mode = Payout x Bet', which suggests another bet mode, but the help page does not describe one.
Staying in charge
The paytable shows values for a bet of 1 that follow your bet level, so check it at your own bet. Decide in advance how much and how long you will play, keep stakes small while you learn the Bonuses, and stop at your limit.
Sin City paytable
Pays for 5 / 4 / 3 matching symbols on a line, shown for a bet of 1 as on the help page; the Wild pays only for five.
