The game screen
The screen is a shallow sea floor with seats around the edge; empty seats show WAITING, and AUTO and LOCK buttons sit on the right. The help page is a single wooden board titled 帮助. It lists creatures and items only: it does not describe the buttons, the cost of a shot, what the multiplier is applied to or the chance of a catch.
From X2 fish to the Monkey King
The small fish run from X2 (a small yellow fish and a pink fish) through X3 to X8. Three creatures share X10: a blue fish, a red lantern fish and a turtle. Then come X12, X15, X18, a blue swordfish at X20, a blue ray at X25, a yellow big-eyed fish at X30 and a golden fish at X35.
The top row is where the story characters appear. A Chinese junk boat shows X20-X60, a mermaid X100, a silver eel-like fish X150 and a golden dragon X200. The Monkey King on his cloud shows X150-X300, and a crowned figure in golden robes shows X200-X400, the highest range on the page. The help page does not say what decides the result inside a range.
Five special items
The help page gives these items text instead of a number:
- Gold ring: 'All captured with the same type'.
- Flame emblem: 'Full screen fish (At least X100)'.
- Green bubble: 'Randomly hit 5 other fish' (printed as '5 0ther').
- Rainbow flower orb marked 三元: 'Three together to capture'.
- Gold coin marked 四喜: 'Four together to capture'.
Rooms
The room-select screen shows 100 Times x10-x100 and 1000 Times x100-x1000; the help page does not explain these labels. Da Sheng Nao Hai 10000 is a separate lobby entry with the same help page and a single room, 10000 Times x1000-x10000.
Keeping it under control
Fishing games keep moving even when you are not deciding anything, so set a time limit as well as a money limit. Use the AUTO button only if you are watching your balance, and stop when your budget is used. No creature on the help page is a guaranteed win.
Da Sheng Nao Hai multipliers and special items
Multipliers and item texts exactly as printed on the help page. The help page does not say what the multiplier is applied to, the cost of a shot or the chance of a catch.
