What makes Clash of the Beasts different
Its rules engine and pay values match Celebration of Wealth in the same lobby, but the look and the bonus games change completely. Instead of a street festival you get a duel of two mythical beasts, each with its own bonus, plus a third bonus that brings both together.
The symbols are gold coins tied with red ribbon, a red folding fan, green bamboo scrolls and a bronze bell with a blue cord, followed by A, K, Q and J.
Reels, lines and controls
There are 25 possible winning pattern combinations, and the paytable shows prizes for 3, 4 and 5 of a kind. Choose your BET, then press PRESS REVEAL or SPIN; AUTO PLAY spins for you.
The beast orb wild
The wild is a white-and-green yin-yang orb, half dragon scales and half tiger fur. It counts as any symbol except the FREE SPIN scatter. Five wilds on a line pay 2,000.
Red scroll free spins
The SCATTER is a red scroll and works as the free spin symbol:
- 3 scrolls: 7 free games
- 4 scrolls: 10 free games
- 5 scrolls: 15 free games
Dragon, Tiger and Beasts bonuses
Each bonus has its own orb. The DRAGON BONUS (green dragon claw) asks you to choose your dragon; get 3 of the same symbols to win the points. The TIGER BONUS (white tiger claw) and the BEASTS BONUS (yin-yang orb) are 'open and get points' picks.
How each bonus is triggered is not written in the help pages. The MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR jackpot meters are not explained either, and the help does not say whether pays use the line bet or the total bet.
Tips for playing
The four card letters pay the least and the coins pay the most, so look at the paytable before you change your bet size. Keep sessions short, set a limit before you start, and play the bonuses for fun rather than to chase losses.
