The dojo line-up
The old master is the top regular symbol: 2,500 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two. The sumo wrestler follows at 1,000 / 125 / 75 / 3, then the samurai and the geisha together at 500 / 75 / 15 / 2.
Instead of A, K, Q, J and 10, Hanzo uses crests: the ninja and a bonsai crest pay 250 / 30 / 10, a crane crest and a wave crest pay 200 / 20 / 5, and a green wave crest and a sakura crest pay 100 / 15 / 5.
The samurai helmet substitute
The golden helmet with the WILD banner appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only, never on reel 1. It replaces everything except the gong scatter. Whenever one or more helmets help a winning line, that prize is doubled, which is what the WITH column in the paytable shows. The helmet has no pay of its own.
The gong
The gold gong pays wherever it lands: any 5 = 200, any 4 = 15, any 3 = 5, any 2 = 1. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total bet and added to line wins.
How the feature game works
Free games do not come from a row of gongs. You need a gong on reel 1 and a helmet on reel 5 in the same spin, which awards 7 free games at your current lines and bet.
Inside the feature, some symbols show a gong in their background. If 3 or more of these appear anywhere in one feature game, each one gives up to 3 extra free games. All prizes during the feature are tripled. The feature itself cannot be retriggered.
Rules worth knowing
Everything pays left to right except the gong. Only the highest win on each line counts, and wins on different lines are added. A progressive jackpot can be won at random at the end of any game, with MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR meters above the reels. A single paid spin is capped at 40,000 times the bet per line.
