Why the number 3 keeps showing up
Look at the paytable and you see threes everywhere. The mandarin official and the Great Wall both pay 3,333 for five, 333 for four and 33 for three. Even the free-game feature is named Triple Twister, and the wild triples what it touches.
One small detail: the mandarin pays 6 for two of a kind, double what every other picture symbol pays for two.
The panda on reel 3
In the base game the panda wild lands on reel 3 only. When it appears it stretches to cover the whole reel before the game pays, so it sits on every line that runs through the middle reel. It replaces every other symbol, the red star included.
Any line win that uses a panda is tripled, which is why the paytable shows 9,999 next to the mandarin's 3,333. For scatter counting, the expanded reel counts once.
Red star and the Triple Twister free games
The red star is the scatter. Three or more from left to right start the Triple Twister feature with 9 free games. The star also pays: 2 for two, the feature for three, 9 plus the feature for four and 33 plus the feature for five, multiplied by your total bet. With a panda helping, the printed values become 27 and 99.
During the free games, every panda that appears copies itself onto 1 or 2 more reels before the pays are counted. The feature can be won again; any new scatters are counted before the copying happens. Free games keep the lines and bet of the spin that started them.
Win-Win: a prize for a quiet feature
If the whole Triple Twister round pays 10 times your bet or less (not counting the win that triggered it), the Win-Win feature adds a prize after the round ends:
- No win at all: 100 x bet
- More than 0 up to 2 x bet: 8 x bet
- More than 2 up to 5 x bet: 3 x bet
- More than 5 up to 10 x bet: 2 x bet
Gamble War, jackpot and the fine print
After a win you may play Gamble War: call BIG or SMALL against the banker card and climb x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10.
A progressive jackpot can land at random at the end of any game. The help page says random jackpot contribution is no more than 1.5% of total Return to Player but gives no RTP figure itself. Only the highest win per line is paid, capped at 50,000 times the bet per line per paid spin.
