Game Rules: 3 reels, 3 rows and 5 lines
Game Rules calls this a slot machine with 3 reels and 3 rows, offering up to 5 lines, with an additional 4th reel that is a special reel. According to the pay line settings, 3 identical symbols from left to right win the prize; bet ways win if the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel.
The lines are printed as small grids: line 1 the middle row, line 2 the top row, line 3 the bottom row, line 4 the diagonal from top left to bottom right and line 5 the diagonal from bottom left to top right.
How the symbol values are counted
Payouts follow the Paytable. A bet way win in cash equals the value shown in the Paytable multiplied by the bet size and bet level, and all wins are shown in cash. Each symbol carries one figure written as 3: value.
The eight symbols
The gold ingot labelled WILD is printed 3: 25. Three red packets follow: 發 at 3: 20, 財 at 3: 15 and 旺 at 3: 12. Then A at 3: 10, K at 3: 8, Q at 3: 5 and J at 3: 2. No substitution rule is printed for WILD.
Multiplier Reel
The 4th reel is a special reel containing only multiplier symbols and a red packet with a green wheel. All winnings are multiplied by the multiplier landed at the center of the special reel. Normal bet mode has 6 multiplier symbols: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x and 15x.
Fortune Wheel
Landing the green-wheel red packet at the center of the special reel triggers the Fortune Wheel. The wheel spins and randomly stops, rewarding the player with extra payout: a prize value of 1x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 30x, 50x, 100x, 200x or 1000x of the bet. The wheel payout is totaled together with the base payout from the initial spin.
Power Bet
Power Bet sits behind the PW button. An additional 50% of the bet is required to pay for it. In Power Bet mode the 1x multiplier symbol is removed from the special reel, and the green-wheel red packet is upgraded to one with a purple wheel; the Fortune Wheel prize value is then multiplied by a random multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x or 15x.
Malfunction and interruptions
Malfunction voids all pays and plays. If a malfunction occurs during the feature game, the system automatically completes the game and ensures the player receives their winnings.
Hong Pao Fortune 2 symbol values
Values as printed under each symbol on the help page (3: value). Game Rules says a bet way win equals the Paytable value multiplied by the bet size and bet level. The second table lists the special reel and Fortune Wheel values.
