Multiplier Reel: the fourth reel
The panel opens with the Multiplier Reel. It states that the fourth reel is a special reel, and that all winning payouts are multiplied by the rate at the center of that special reel. In general betting there are 6 multipliers: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x and 15x.
Game Rules: grid, lines and ways
Game Rules describes a slot machine with 3 reels and 3 rows, offering up to 5 lines to win, with an additional 4th reel that is a special reel. It adds that players place bets for a random number of winning Ways on each spin. According to the pay line settings, 3 identical symbols appearing from left to right win the prize, and bet ways win when the winning symbols are in succession from the leftmost reel to the right.
The five lines are drawn as small grids. Line 1 runs along the middle row, line 2 along the top row and line 3 along the bottom row. Line 4 is the diagonal from top left to bottom right, and line 5 the diagonal from bottom left to top right.
How to read 3: value
Every symbol in the Symbols table has one figure underneath, written as 3: value, for example 3: 25 or 3: 2. Game Rules gives the basis: winning combinations and payouts are made according to the Paytable, and a bet way win in cash is equal to the value shown in the Paytable multiplied by the bet size and bet level. All wins are shown in cash.
The eight symbols
The Symbols table is laid out two to a row. First comes a gold ingot with the word WILD across it, printed 3: 25. Three red packets follow, each marked with a Chinese character: 發 at 3: 20, 財 at 3: 15 and 旺 at 3: 12. The four letters close the table: A at 3: 10, K at 3: 8, Q at 3: 5 and J at 3: 2.
What the panel does not cover
This panel prints no rule for free games, no scatter symbol, no bonus round, no buy feature and no extra bet. It gives WILD a value in the table but does not say what WILD substitutes for, so this guide does not add a rule for it.
Malfunction
Malfunction voids all pays and plays. If any malfunction occurs during the feature game, the system will automatically complete the game and ensure the player receives their winnings.
Hong Pao Fortune symbol values
Figures exactly as printed under each symbol on the help page (3: value). Game Rules says a bet way win equals the value shown in the Paytable multiplied by the bet size and bet level.
