Symbols and what they pay
The rules page prints ten symbols. The tortoise has the top row: 6 for 5 symbols, 2 for 4, 0.4 for 3 and 0.08 for 2. The deer prints 4, 1.2 and 0.2, the golden apple 4, 0.6 and 0.08, and the bird cage and the bamboo each 4, 1 and 0.2.
The letters follow: K prints 3, 0.8 and 0.2, while Q, J, 10 and 9 each print 2, 0.4 and 0.2. Only the tortoise has a 2-symbol column. The page does not say which bet size these numbers are for, so they are not RM amounts.
How wins are paid and the old man
The page says all wins begin with the leftmost reel and pay left to right on adjacent reels, except the golden apple and the gold orb. The golden apple pays in any position.
The white-bearded old man substitutes for all symbols except the golden apple and the gold orb, and the page, which spells the word as expect, says it appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only. The page prints no line count.
Free games
Any 5, 4 or 3 scattered golden apple win gives 6 free games. During the free games every old man that substitutes in a win doubles the pay for that win. The page also says the old man does not appear during the free games, so read both lines as printed.
Free games can be triggered again, and the Total Bet is the same as in the triggering game.
Gold orbs and the linked jackpots
Under Scattered Orb, 6 or more gold orbs win all prizes appearing on orbs, and orbs always appear on the reels with an orb prize on them. The possible orb prizes are GREAT JACKPOT, FINE BONUS, NICE BONUS or 250 down to 1 multiplied by the Total Bet. Prizes are paid either after the HOLD & SPIN feature or after PERFECT JACKPOT has been awarded.
Linked Perfect Jackpot: 15 gold orbs win PERFECT JACKPOT, awarded when 15 orbs appear in a bought or free game, or are collected at the end of the HOLD & SPIN feature. All orb prizes shown on screen are paid in addition. Linked Great Jackpot: GREAT JACKPOT is awarded when it appears on an orb at the end of the HOLD & SPIN feature, or in a bought game or free game when 15 orbs appear and it appears on an orb. Only 1 orb may contain GREAT JACKPOT at any time.
