Symbols and what they pay
The paytable lists ten symbols with 5, 4 and 3 columns. The red lantern pays the most: 10, 3 and 1. The bamboo steamer basket prints 5, 2 and 0.5, the green teapot 3, 1 and 0.3, and the fortune cookie 2, 0.5 and 0.2. The letters A, K and Q print 1, 0.3 and 0.1, while J, 10 and 9 print 0.5, 0.2 and 0.1.
These are the numbers printed on the rules page: a count of symbols and the number next to it. The page does not say which bet size they are for, and they are not money amounts in RM.
How wins are paid
Line pays must occur on adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel. Only the highest winner is paid per winning combination, line pays are multiplied by the bet per line, and all pays are in credits. The pay line picture is numbered 1 to 50.
The lantern is wild for all symbols except the free games symbol and the fireball. The free games symbol appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. A fireball displaying 100x total credits bet appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, one displaying 50x on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, the GREAT fireball on reel 3 only, and the PERFECT fireball is not available in the base game.
Free games
Three free games symbols pay 2x the total bet and award one of: 20 free games with 2X, 3X or 5X multiplier; 15 with 3X, 5X or 8X; 10 with 5X, 8X or 10X; 7 with 8X, 10X or 15X; 5 with 10X, 15X or 25X; or a mystery choice of any of those.
Lanterns in a winning combination multiply its pay by a random wild multiplier from the ranges of the scenario selected. An alternate set of reels is used, and 3 free games symbols award 2x the total bet plus additional free games equal to the number initially awarded.
Fire Link Feature
Four or more scattered fireballs trigger it. It starts with 4 unlocked rows for 4 to 7 fireballs, or 5 rows for 8 to 10, and 3 spins are awarded. Fireballs lock in place for the feature, and spins reset to 3 whenever a new fireball locks on an unlocked row.
Collecting additional fireballs unlocks more rows, up to 8. Fireballs award credit values from 50 to 5000 times the bet per line, or PERFECT, GREAT, FINE or NICE jackpots. The feature ends when no spins remain or all 40 positions are locked.
